PROVIDENCE - For the thousands who came out to the Roger Williams National Memorial Park on North Main Street for a rally in support of recovering drug and alcohol addicts, Saturday afternoon signified a number of different things.
For Jim Gillen, a recovering addict and a lead organizer of the event, it was a chance to celebrate, with friends and family, another year of living clean and sober.
